Thursday Thirteen

13 games to occupy your toddler
  1. The Bean Game - great game to teach toddlers new textures.
  2. Hide and Seek - this game is great indoors or outside
  3. Cars - it's amazing what can be turned into ramps
  4. Playdough - its great that its non-toxic too just in case
  5. Sing and Dance - great game for social skills
  6. Character flash cards - have your child tell you who the picture is when they are young and then move to matching games when they get older.
  7. Dress Up - you'd be amazed that little boys love to dress up (in boys costumes) as much as the girls do.
  8. Tickle Game - great for lots of laughs!
  9. Clean Up game - great way to get your kiddo to help clean their toy room!
  10. Bubbles - best outdoors but we blow bubbles inside a lot with no trouble.
  11. Reading books and finding objects in the book.
  12. ABC's and 123's - great way to help teach your child the ABC's and 123's.
  13. I Spy - name objects that your child knows and see if they can find them.

I'm always looking for new ways to entertain Nate (toybox photo is a great example) so if you have other games to recommend I'd love to hear about it in comments.
