Sorry that I have been a bad blogger of late. This week (Wednesday) we found out that my Dad has a tumor in his kidney. They said that it is most likely Kidney Cancer. The biopsy results will be back on Monday when he has a follow up visit. The Dr wants to be safe and they will be removing the entire kidney soon.

tonya, my husband had his kidney removed due to kidney cancer 8 months ago and he is doing okay. your blog showed up on my gogole alerts. there is an online email list that is sponsored by the association of cancer online resources. there are 1500 of us on this list. we know the latest treatments, best surgeons and how to handle surgery etc. go to www.acor.org then mailing lists, letter K and the sign up. i believe it is saving my husbands life. daughters of parent with kidney cancer are on there and its never too soon to join the sooner the better. feel free to emsil me llewis104@yahoo.com - liz
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I can't imagine anything happening to my parents. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
